South Temecula Veterinary Hospital & Pet Hotel Puppy & Kitten Wellness Programs

Keep your pet healthy.

These programs are developed to promote good health by minimizing the threat of infectious disease and internal parasites. These pre-paid plans provide an economical yet thorough approach to the care of your puppy or kitten. Our goal is to make complete coverage affordable. All programs include at least 2 visits for vaccinations.

Be sure to keep your puppy or kitten indoors and isolated from other puppies and dogs or kittens and cats until all vaccinations are completed to avoid disease exposure.

See our forms page for printable handout and pricing.

What is Leptospirosis?

Lepto is a bacterial infection transmitted primarily by wildlife, but can affect any animal. This infection can then spread from our pets through their urine to humans. Leptospirosis is life-threating to pets as well as humans, capable of causing most commonly liver and/or kidney failure. All pets staying with us for boarding or surgical procedures must be current with this vaccine. For more information about leptospirosis, please feel free to contact our office or visit the Center for Disease Control’s website.

Microchip Implantation

Microchips are a safe and effective means of permanent identification. Although microchips can be implanted when your pup is spayed or neutered, we also offer this service at a discounted rate for all puppy programs. Our fee includes implantation and lifetime registration. Microchipping is now a legal requirement for registration of your dog in Riverside County!

To make sure your puppy gets all the necessary vaccines simply return for boosters every 3 – 4 weeks, or as directed by the veterinarian. Also be sure to return once a year for an annual exam, booster vaccines and deworming to keep your pup healthy. All programs must be completed within 3 months of the first visit, otherwise the program is void and you may have to start over to ensure development of adequate immunity. Any refunds will be made as a credit to your account minus the regular price for services already rendered. Programs are not transferable to other pets, but can transfer with the puppy to a new owner.

PLEASE BE SURE TO SPAY OR NEUTER YOUR DOG AT AROUND 6 MONTHS OF AGE!

We are one of the few hospitals in the area that offers the use of a laser during surgery to greatly decrease pain, bleeding and swelling!
