Laura started working in veterinary medicine in 2010 as a receptionist. Over the years, she was promoted to lead and then hospital manager. In 2017, Laura moved to the Temecula area and joined the STVH family. She is passionate about providing exceptional care: to our patients, to our clients, and to our team. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and two rescue dogs, Aero and Rocket. Laura spends her free time reading, writing, and traveling home to the Bay Area whenever she can to visit her family.
Delanie joined our STVH team in 2017. She comes to us with several years of customer service and animal experience from her work in grooming. Lanie is passionate about helping animals in any way she can. Lanie spends her free time watching Netflix and cuddling with her pets, a Boston Terrier named Luke Skywalker, a Lab mix named Luna, her two cats, Asher and Siren, and many reptiles. When not at home with her pets, Lanie enjoys wildlife photography and hiking.
Stephanie came to us with over two years of experience working as a receptionist before she joined our team in 2017. She has been passionate for animals since she was a child and has never lived a day without a family pet by her side. When Stephanie is not at work, she enjoys going shopping, watching movies at home with her husband, and spending time with her family and friends. Stephanie has two Chihuahua mix dogs, Ivey and Daisy.
Torey joined our STVH family in 2018, having worked in the field for over one year. She enjoys working with animals, and feels that animals are one of the greatest passions of her life. When Torey is not at work, she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and spending as much time outdoors as possible with her two dogs, Rylie, an Australian Shepherd, and Luger, a German Shepherd.
Chelsea discovered her love of animals at a very young age. She moved into the veterinary field in 2005, and joined the STVH team in 2012. Chelsea is passionate about providing the best care possible to help bridge the gap between sick pets and their owners. Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys life with her husband, two German shepherds, Yoshi and Calley, two Dachshunds, Trip and Bean, and Maine Coon mix cat, Skeetchy.
Jay Jay has wanted to work with animals since she was small, but didn’t know what that meant until she witnessed a dog get hit by a car. Her first response was to grab the dog and take him/her to the nearest animal hospital for treatment. She has been working in veterinary medicine since 2015, but began volunteering at animal shelters when she was 18. When Jay Jay is not at work, she spends her free time doing UFC/MMA, cuddling her fur babies, or reading and writing. Jay Jay has six rescue dogs: a Chiweenie named Moe, a Maltipoo named Shadow, a Bernese-Shepherd Mix named Ruby, a Yorkie named Sushi, a Papillion mix named Silouette, and a Pitbull/Great Dane mix named Oliver.
Sage joined the STVH family after graduating from Cal Poly Pomona in 2017, with her BS in Animal Health Science. Sage has special interest in radiology and is inspired by her desire to help and comfort the animals who cannot speak for themselves. As an only child growing up, Sage’s pets were her “siblings.” Outside of work, Sage enjoys spending her free time with her family, which includes her two pets: a Corgi named Finn and an Aarabian Horse named Danalei.
Ever since she can remember, Suzie has loved animals. When she was 10, she realized her love of working with animals through the 4-H program. She also found a special passion for client communication and education that has carried with her into her work at STVH since 2010. Suzie has four dogs, an orange tabby cat, and a small flock of chickens. While working part-time to focus on being a mom to her new two-legged hairless baby, Suzie is pursuing her education in veterinary medicine to better serve the patients she loves and misses when she returns.
Mekenna decided to pursue her RVT license after losing her beloved dog Sophia to cancer because she never wanted to see another pet go without doing everything in her power to improve their life. Mekenna joined the STVH team in 2018 with six years’ experience in the veterinary field. When Mekenna is not at work, she is continuing to pursue her education and enjoys photography in her spare time.
Emily has been around animals her entire life, including iguanas, rabbits, dogs, ferrets, pigs, chickens, horses, and more. Working in the veterinary field allowed Emily to pursue her passion for animals. She has worked in the veterinary field for more than one year and joined the STVH family in 2018. In her spare time, Emily enjoys going to the beach and hiking with her two Siberian Huskies, Zeus and Skye.
Niki joined the STVH family in 2018 with three years’ experience in the veterinary field. After trying other fields and not finding the one that fit, Niki began working in veterinary medicine and knew she had found her happiness and future. Outside of work, Niki enjoys knitting and yarn craft, videogames, and documentaries and politics. She has two dogs named Sherlock and Sterling Archer and one Axolotl named Davy Jones.

Jenni has been part of the STVH family since 2016. Jenni has been rescuing animals since she was eight years old and always knew she was meant to work with animals someday. She is passionate about her role as an advocate for our boarding patients. Outside of work, Jenni has rescued three dogs: Lilly, Lucy, and Maggie and three cats: Betsey, Ginny, and Lumos, all named for Harry Potter characters. In her spare time, Jenni enjoys reading and dancing.
Shaylee has been in the veterinary field since 2016 when she joined the STVH family. Shaylee is passionate about helping pets and making a positive impact on the lives of others. She feels stronger as a person when she is able to overcome the everyday challenges this field presents. Outside of work, Shaylee enjoys dancing, writing, and taking her Pitbull Rosko and Puggle Kona to the beach.
Dimitrio joined the STVH team in 2017. He has always loved animals, and through working at STVH has realized that he wants to become a veterinarian. When Dimitrio is not at work, he enjoys film, reading and writing, and music, especially the piano. He has a myriad of animals, one dog named Arya, two cats named Teru and Thoryn, and four Uromastyx Lizards named Ronan, Nova, Genshin, and Ryu.
