Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why an occasional delay in attending to scheduled appointments is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each patient on time.

Under special circumstances, the doctor may offer drop-off appointments. With pre-approval, you may be able to bring your pet at the time that works best for you and leave him or her with us for part of the day. Usually we will ask you to drop off sometime in the morning so one of our doctors can examine your pet in between appointments or at a time purposely reserved for admitted patients. Once the exam is completed, the doctor will call you to discuss exam findings, recommended diagnostic testing, and potential treatment options. For the safety of our staff and all animals in our care, we require that certain vaccinations be up to date (RCP and rabies for cats; DHPP, leptospirosis, bordetella, and rabies for dogs).

We make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, but sometimes they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help minimize stress during your pet's visit!

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms -- loaner leashes are available upon request. All cats must be in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash -- economical cardboard small pet carriers are available for purchase at the front desk. Please call ahead to let us know if you need any special accommodations or any assistance in bringing your pet(s) into the building.

Payment Policy

Full payment is required at the time services are rendered -- payment is due at the time of discharge for outpatient services; pre-payment is collected for hospitalized and boarding pets. For your convenience, we accept cash, CareCredit, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and most other major credit cards. I'm sorry, but we do not accept checks.
